RENTALS:

NOW OFFERING: additional outdoor space for event tents and outdoor weddings

Here at the Shelby Community and Senior Center, we have an exceptionally beautiful facility.  It is handicap accessible with 2 separate rooms to rent throughout the year.

1) The Janet Yetzer Card Room:

  • Holds no more than 40 guests and is equipped with a kitchenette.  

  • Additional exterior door for easy set-up and guest drop-off.

FEE  $200 rental fee with $100 refundable deposit (if left in same condition as pre-rental. Insurance Certificate required for your event, Call for details on renting.)

2)  The Banquet Room:

  • ​Holds up to 200 guests (150 comfortably)

  • Kitchen not included, but can be rented for catering for your event for an additional $100.  Or you may utilize both rooms (with kitchenette, for an additional $50 with Banquet Room rental. Our large kitchen is state-of-the-art and is perfect for catered weddings and large events if needed). 

  • The Banquet Room is aesthetically pleasing and boasts ambient lighting on the surrounding walls, brand new LED lighting, fire place in winter and Air Conditioning.  Also 2 additional exterior entrances and a side parking lot, all adding to the cozy, elegant feel for dinners and intimate gatherings.

FEE:  $350 rental fee with $100 refundable deposit (if left in same condition or better that pre-rental and no abuse to facility or its contents, A Certificate of Insurance is also required for the date of your rental.) The kitchen is available for $100 if catering is used.  We also have in-house catering we offer if the date is avaiable for our caterer. Call for details.

The outside space is new to us, and we welcome your inquireies if that is something that might appeal to you and your particular event.

* Please give us a call at 419-342-7223 to reserve your rental with a simple deposit to hold your spot.  Rental Agreement and deposit due at time of rental scheduling.  Final rental payment due 2 weeks prior to the event. Cancellations and Refunds are at the discretion of the Director.
