Here at the Shelby Community and Senior Center, we have an exceptionally beautiful facility.  It is handicap accessible with 2 separate rooms to rent throughout the year. 

 

Note: The building is monitored 24/7 with a security/camera system.

1) The Janet Yetzer Card Room:

• Holds no more than 40 guests and is equipped with a kitchenette.  There are card table sized white tables and chairs in the room that are set up, with more available in the room's closet.

• Additional exterior door for easy set-up and guest drop-off.

FEE  $200 rental fee with $100 refundable deposit (if left in same condition as pre-rental. Insurance Certificate required for your event, Call for details on renting.)

2)  The Banquet Room:

• ​Holds up to 150 guests-tables and chairs are available for use at your rental event. (We have 5 ft round and 6 ft long tables that are available for our rentals, along with the white plastic folding chairs.)

• Kitchen use is not included, but can be rented your event for an additional $150. Our large kitchen is state-of-the-art and is perfect for catered weddings and large events. 

• The Banquet Room is aesthetically pleasing and boasts ambient mood-lighting on the surrounding walls, LED overhead lighting, a fire place for family photos (for an extra fee fire place can be turned on during the event) and centeral air throughout the building in the summer, all adding to the comfortable, cozy, elegant feel for dinners and intimate gatherings. ​

FEE:  $350 rental fee with $100 refundable deposit (if left in same condition or better than pre-rental and no abuse to facility or its contents, A Certificate of Insurance is also required for the date of your rental.) The kitchen is available for an additional $150 if catering is used.

* Please give us a call at 419-342-7223 to reserve your rental with a simple deposit to hold your spot.  Rental Agreement and deposit due at time of rental scheduling.  Rental payment and Certificate of Insurance is due NO LATER than 2 weeks prior to the event.

 

Cancellation Refunds are at the discretion of the Director.  Retention of the security deposit and refund of deposit are determined after the event and at the discretion of the Director.
